The anthropophony.org platform is the first act of a creation entitled These sounds that invade us. It is developed within the framework of Caroline Boë’s thesis in “practice and theory of artistic creation”, under the scientific direction of Christine Esclapez and the artistic direction of Peter Sinclair. Its objective, committed to the fight against environmental sound pollution, is to propose to contribute, according to the FAIR principle, to the archiving of sounds of our time, subjectively considered as polluting.
This sound library participates in the research of PRISM’s axis 2, as well as in the laboratory’s living archive project.
